character archetype
In the series I am reading called the hunger games, Haymitch is most like the mentor. He trains Katniss and Peeta for the hunger games mentally and physically and teaches them what he knows. He helps get them prepared for their adventure and shows them his wisdom when it's most needed. His help allows them to be prepared for the games and he plays a big part in their survival and how they overcome the tasks they face throughout the books. I also find Haymitch desplays some of the qualitys of a shape shifter because in the beggining of the series, Haymitch shows no intrest in training them and always shows up drunk so you think he is useless. By the end of the series he turns out to be a huge help to them and in a smart and expirienced mentor.

ReplyDeleteSecond sentence was (I believe) a comma splice. Apart from the errors this post does a good job at identifying the archetype. A suggestion for future blog posts is to try and make connections (Colan right bracket)
